Synopsis The young Lucía falls in love with "about-to-be" doctor, Alex, but he's not sure if it's real love or necessity. After three years of marriage Paz is falling out of love with Jorge by the minute. A job on the outskirts of the city speeds up the process. Retirees, Irene and Albert, decide to start over again their life together after years apart due to an infidelity. "Love Just Ain't What It Was" is a comic look at love and the mechanics of relationships for three couples on three different life journeys, a parabola (two points that meet again) or a hyperbola (two points that will never meet).
